As sad and difficult as the past weeks have been since receiving the news of Milette’s death, I could almost hear the words of comfort that she would offer in that “Spiritually Counter-Intuitive” way I described earlier. She would have said:

 

• That her departure was in perfect accord with God’s timetable, not ours…

• That she had fulfilled God’s plan for her life…

• And that, although we were not ready for her abrupt leave-taking, she was.
